'Bamaluz' Original Painting
This stunning original artwork is named ‘Bamaluz’. Acrylic on stretched canvas.
It was inspired by a stroll along the harbour beach in St Ives, Cornwall, curving round to Bamaluz beach. It was sometime in March and was unusually sunny and bright. As the sun peeped out from behind a cloud, the sea changed colour and the spectacular array of turquoise spread over the sea. I took a photo and was desperate to paint it right away. I love the contrast of the slippery seaweed covered rocks and the calm, bright sea.
