April and May ‘26
One minute it felt like the beginning of the year, and the next I’m sitting here looking back at two whole months that somehow vanished in a blur of paint, ideas, half finished coffees, late nights, sketchbooks, admin, exhibitions and trying to keep up with life while making art at the same time.
In April I finished up my latest watercolour Cirencester scene- Black Jack Street :) I love its cartoon like style. My main focus for this piece was to eventually turn it into a greeting card and a tea towel design. Both have been achieved this month and I’m so happy to have added another Cotswold scene to my collection. The original painting is available, finished in a white solid wooden frame, to purchase for £195. Contact me here if you’d like to call it your own.
Both my markets in April and May were a huge success- I was excited to bring my beautiful new Cotswold Tea Towel range along, and I sold out of them over the bank holiday May weekend! Ive now restocked, and they are available on my website here.

I had the fabulous opportunity in May to exhibit my paintings ‘Lavender Haze’ and ‘A Bright New Day’ at the Barnsley Village Festival, as part of the Cirencester Art Society. I attended the private view and had a real ‘pinch me’ moment seeing my work hanging in such a beautiful setting. I also took part in the annual Spring Art exhibition with the Cirencester Art Society, with this one taking place in the St John Baptist Church in Cirencester.
Being a member of the Cirencester Art Society has been a real highlight of 2026 for me so far, and I really do encourage anyone that fancies dabbling in the art world to join. We are a friendly bunch! Details here for anyone interested.

‘Halcyon’- Selected for The Base Gallery- Festival of Arts and Crafts!
I’m really excited that 2 of my paintings ‘Halcyon’ and ‘Cornish Glow’ have been selected by The Base Gallery in Greenham. The exhibition runs from Saturday 6th June until Sunday 21st June, with the main festival taking place on the weekend of the 6/7th June.
The Base is an incredible contemporary arts venue, and it feels like a real milestone to have work selected to hang here.
If you fancy a weekend of celebrating all things Art, then make sure you pop along! Further details can be found here.
So, as I’m sure you’ll agree, April and May have been incredibly full- In the best and most chaotic way.
So here’s to the last 2 months, the messy audio days, the unfinished ideas, the breakthroughs, the exhaustion, the inspiration, the over thinking and the small moments between that somehow became two months!
Now somehow it’s nearly Summer already.. and I’m excited to see what the next month brings!
